Canoes is Waikiki's main break infront of the Moana Surfrider hotel. It's location makes it a very crowded surf spot, both first timers and 40 year veteran surfers share this surf spot. The south shore surf is best in the summer months. There are showers and restrooms on the beach.

Queens surf spot is infront of Kuhio Beach Park & Duke Kahanamoku statue. This is a favorite surf spot for both local residents and tourists. The rights have better shape but the lefts are less crowded. South shore swell breaks best in the summer months.

Pops is located infront of the Waikiki Sheraton Hotel, it is a long paddle to the break but worth the effort. Less crowded than Queens and Canoes and offer a nice wave if the swell if right. Pops is one of my favorite south shore surf spots and can offer lots of fun if the wave are good.

Threes surf spot offers some nice clean rights with a little barrel on a good south swell, this is usually a summer time brack. Long paddle from the beach and lots of longboarders out there catching the waves. Threes also offers a less crownded left because it is not as exciting but can catch a few to keep it fun. Threes surf spot is located infront of the Outrigger Reef Hotel, it is a long paddle but worth it. This surf spot was feature in the endless summer movie.

Ala Moana Bowls in located infront of the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. Ala Moana Bowls is a hallow left and very popular on a good south swell. The Ala Wai channel was dredged with the result of a nice man made surf spot. On larger south swells it offers a steep drop and nice tube ride. Very popular with both local residents and tourists.
